Song in the City: Creative Minds in Song 2026 Premiere

Creative Minds in Song is a flagship project by Song in the City, developed in partnership with Guildhall School and Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge. Now in its fourth iteration, the project brings together poets, composers and performers to create new songs rooted in lived experience.

Over several months of workshops, participants have shaped original texts and musical settings exploring identity, resilience and shared humanity. This premiere performance presents the newly co-created songs, performed by our project artists and the writers themselves, in the beautiful setting of St Giles Cripplegate — an intimate and moving evening of new music and shared storytelling.
