Song in the City: Creative Minds in Song @ The Royal Foundation of St Katharine

Creative Minds in Song is a flagship project by Song in the City, developed in partnership with Guildhall School and Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge. Now in its fourth iteration, the project brings together poets, composers and performers to create new songs rooted in lived experience. Over several months of workshops, participants have shaped original texts and musical settings exploring identity, resilience and shared humanity. 

Now in its fourth iteration, the project builds on a growing body of work shaped through collaboration, poetry and lived experience. This performance takes place at the Royal Foundation of St Katharine, whose work centres on hospitality, social justice, wellbeing and creating space for reflection and connection. Bringing Creative Minds in Song to St Katharine’s reflects a shared commitment to listening, care and the power of creative expression to support individuals and communities.
