An Italian songbook that celebrates the birth of a nation, tracing a story of identity and memory, through non-operatic delights by Puccini, Verdi and Donizetti to lesser-known vocal gems by Pizzetti, Casella, Salviucci, Ottorino and Elsa Respighi and Martucci
