The Prophetic Bird: An Aviary in Song
Song Recital in St Nicholas Chiswick Followed by tea and cakes
A Song Recital taking us through the seasons with an ornithological theme. Whilst emphasis will be on Finzi songs, composers also featured will include his immediate contemporaries, Milford, Gurney, Howells and Rubbra, together with Imogen Holst, Cecilia McDowall, Judith Weir, Elizabeth Maconchy and Britten.
Lucy Goddard mezzo soprano, Jon Stainsby baritone and Gavin Roberts piano.
